NO JULY 4TH FIREWORKS IN THE BOROUGH THIS YEAR - The Chamber of Commerce has announced that this event has been CANCELLED due to circumstances beyond their control. Chamber of Commerce Farmers Market Every Sunday, 9am to 3pm On Grand Avenue between Jefferson & McKinley  Buy Jersey Fresh produce, fresh flowers, pickles & baked goods Dedication of the new Veterans' Field soccer facility at the Kohler site took place on Saturday, May 30th, with a ceremony at the field. The name was selected to honor all Hawthorne residents who have served their country in the armed forces.
