HAVE A SAFE & HAPPY NEW YEAR!

The Borough Council's annual REORGANIZATION MEETING will occur on New Year's Day at 1:00 p.m. in the municipal building.  The Mayor and Councilmembers elected in November will take their oaths of office, along with numerous appointed officials.
The Borough's PUBLIC ACCESS CHANNEL previously viewed only on Cablevision's Channel 77, now airs also on Verizon FiOS Channel 28.  The Public Access Channel shows Council meetings live, and at other times displays a community bulletin board.
CHRISTMAS TREES will be collected during the month of January on the regular yard waste day for each street.  Remove all decorations, tree stand, and wires.  Do not put the tree in a plastic bag.

LEAF PICK-UP HAS ENDED.
The Road Department has completed leaf pick-up in the street.  Leaves should not be raked into the street or left at the curb in bags or barrels.  Leaves may be brought to the Hawthorne Recycling Center (Ryerson Way off Wagaraw Blvd at the baseball fields) anytime throughout the year during regular hours of operation.  For additional information
