The Borough of Hawthorne was saddened to learn of the death of former Mayor Fred Criscitelli. Fred had a long and storied career as Mayor, Councilman and School Board member. He was responsible for the Louis Bay 2nd Library addition and the building of the Hawthorne Ambulance Corps building. He will be missed, and we wish his family peace at this time. The Borough flags are at half-staff in his honor.
