Passaic County will hold a public hearing on February 7, 2019, at 4 p.m., at the Passaic County Department of Planning and Economic Development, 930 Riverview Drive, Totowa, NJ, Suite 250, on a proposed amendment to its Community Development plan which would allow an $80,000 grant to the Borough of Hawthorne to be used for installing ADA curb ramps at various intersections within the Borough. These funds had previously been programmed to mill and pave Irvington Avenue and a portion of North 10th Street. The original project had to be postponed indefinitely while PSE&G upgrades gas mains in the area.
