MUNICIPAL ALLIANCE COMMITTEE |
The Hawthorne Municipal Alliance is a volunteer community organization that focuses its efforts towards the prevention of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse. Established by the Borough Council, the Alliance is a coalition of parents, educators, elected officials, police, administrators and students who are concerned about alcohol, tobacco and drug use in our community. The Alliance works closely with local municipal officials, police, school personnel, borough organizations and residents to support local programs and alcohol/drug free events. Meetings of the Municipal Alliances are open to the public and parents are especially welcome to attend. |
