A resident may have up to two garage sales in a calendar year, with each sale being no more than three consecutive days.  The fee is $5 for the first sale, and $10 for the second.  Application is made to the Borough Clerk's Office.  Residents holding garage sales must adhere to the following rules: 

- Garage sales shall be conducted only between the hours of 9:00 am and sundown. 
- Temporary signs are permitted only one (1) day before and on the days of the sale. 
- No temporary signs are permitted on public property, including trees, utility poles, and street or traffic signs.
- No more than six (6) temporary signs advertising a given sale are permitted, and no sign shall be more than four (4) square feet in size. 

The Town expects to sponsor its next Town-wide Garage Sale in the spring of 2010.
