The mission of the Health Division is to improve the health of the community by providing you with a comprehensive program of Public Health Services in the areas of environmental health, communicable disease, chronic illness and personal health. An advisory Board of Health has been established to guide the operation of the Division of Health and make recommendations on health-related matters.

The Registrar of Vital Statistics maintains and provides copies of vital records, including birth certificates, marriage licenses, death certificates and burial permits. Animal Control Services are provided via contract with a private company. Information on the annual rabies clinic may be accessed in link below to Clinical Services. Dog and cat licenses are issued in the Health Office
The Health Division provides a variety of clinical services for residents. The Division also maintains a food pantry supported by donations from the community.
The Division issues a variety of licenses and permits for food & drink establishments, vending machines and other activities. Inspections are performed to ensure that the license and permit holders are operating in accordance with the applicable codes.
