2017 State of the Borough address by Mayor Goldberg

Bandshell returns Spring 2017

With the recent E-Coli incident found in the Ridgewood Water Supply System, please be assured that the Hawthorne Water Supply is safe to drink.  The Hawthorne Water is not supplied by Ridgewood Water. Although there is an interconnection between the two systems, Hawthorne supplies water to Ridgewood between the months of May through October.  At this time the interconnection is closed, until the demand for the water supply to Ridgweood is needed.  The interconnection is equipped with back-flow devices, and due to the difference in water pressure, Hawthorne is at no risk of contamination coming back from Ridgewood.  Again, we reassure you that the Hawthorne water is safe for drinking.

Mosquito Spraying will take place May 1- Oct. 31, 2017
