The Hawthorne CERT team meets every 1^st Thursday at Van Dyk's Assisted Living located at 644 Goffle Road.  Meetings are held in the Community Room located on the first floor and meeting begin at 7:15pm.

Basic training consists of 20 hours of training involving:

Fire Suppression
Medical Emergencies
Search & Rescue
Disaster Psychology
Team Organization
Dealing with Terrorism
