Hawthorne's Board of Recreation programs operate at facilities owned by Hawthorne Borough, the Hawthorne Board of Education and Passaic County. Below are the locations of the most commonly-used facilities, and the activities they are used for:

Borough Field Requests
Requests for use of Borough fields must be made in writing to the Board of Recreation including all relevant information, including a roster for any team proposed to use the field. Approval must be granted at a Board of Recreation meeting before the proposed event, and so the request must be received prior to a scheduled meeting. Approval will be granted with the condition that a certificate of insurance is provided to the Borough. Use is for Borough residents only.
