HYDRANT FLUSHING BEGINS WEEK OF JUNE 2nd
The annual hydrant-flushing program is beginning in Hawthorne as well as those residents in North Haledon served by Hawthorne’s water. This program will start the week of June 2nd and will continue for the next 4 to 6 weeks. The work will be done daily during regular business hours.
No interruption of service will result, but residents may possibly experience slight discoloration or a drop in water pressure. Any resident who notices a problem should call 973-427-5330. If there is discoloration, residents should let the tap run for a few minutes until water runs clear.
