As a precaution for the COVID19 virus, the Hawthorne Police Department is cancelling the Jr. Police Academy for 7 and 8 grades for 2020.
Arbor Day Give-away of tree saplings to be held at the Hawthorne Library on Friday April 243 from 1:30 pm until 5:30 pm, compliments of the Hawthorne Shade Tree Commission and Community Tree Recovery, an Arbor Day Foundation Program.
Street Dedication at Roosevelt Avenue & Short Street at 1 pm in honor of Corporal Frank P. Boyd, United States Army.
Shred Day at Municipal Building Parking Lot from 9 am to 1 pm for Borough Residents.
