The Borough of Hawthorne now accepts online payments for property taxes and water bills using credit cards (MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express) or direct bank debit (from a checking or savings account). Payments are made through the website of our vendor, FIS Global, please see the terms and conditions of using this service.
All payments will include an additional charge for a convenience fee equal to:
- For Credit Cards, 2.95% of the amount being paid for using this service. The minimum fee for credit card payments is $3.
- For Direct Bank Debit (from a checking or savings account), a flat fee of $1.95.
- All fees will be added to your payment.
Payments may also be made in person in the Finance office, 1st Floor Suite 101, between the hours of
8:30 AM - 4 PM, Monday - Friday.
