Board Overview

A Board of Fire Commissioners consisting of the Fire Chief and the Assistant Chiefs from the various companies is empowered to adopt by-laws for control, government and management of the Hawthorne Fire Department.  Members elect their own Chief and other officers and maintain the terms of expiration for office on their website, not on the Borough's website.  The Chief reports to the Mayor.
